Space Construction 4
Is a piece made with it’s very own logic composed of six pieces of three millimetre glass plates and different elements like movers’ ropes and adjustable bars that makes it possible to hold the glass together and thereby form a cube.
The piece is inspired by contemporary buildings which are in the process of construction. Concrete panels are being put together and different kind of tools is used to stabilize the building in the early stage and movers’ rope are being used in the transporting of various materials to the construction site.
The Space Construction is in some sort of temporarily state and a fragile structure while glass plats are brittle elements which are not properly put together.
